I am always amazed at a night sky full of stars. The magnitude, the magnificence, and the majesty of it leaves me speechless and awestruck. My wifes eyes cannot focus on the stars, and on a clear night she can only see about a dozen of them. I am looking at thousands, and she can only see or . I feel for her, because she doesnt realize what she is missing. I will often get in my truck and drive out away from all street lights, so the stars are the only lights to see. I will park on a hillside or next to the river and lay in the back of my truck and just watch the sky for an hour or more. It is so tranquil and soothing. It is a refreshing that I cannot describe in mortal words. It is a canvas that God repaints each night with the same brushstrokes. Its intriguing because it is both always the same and always new.
